The landlord, Benjamin Apeh, reportedly died after collapsing during an argument with his tenant over unpaid rent in Arigbabu Village, Sotubo, Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State. The incident was reported by the daughter of the deceased to the police, stating that the argument occurred on Saturday evening and escalated on Sunday morning when the tenant threatened to kill Apeh. Apeh collapsed during the confrontation and was rushed to NNPC Hospital where he was later confirmed dead by the attending doctor. The tenant fled the scene, and investigations are ongoing to apprehend him.
