Chelsea set to sign real Madrid star Rodrygo
Manchester City’s Concrete Interest in Real Madrid Star Rodrygo Confirmed
According to recent reports from TEAMtalk, Manchester City has shown the most concrete interest in signing Real Madrid forward Rodrygo. The Brazilian international has been linked with a move away from the Spanish giants due to the arrivals of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick at the Bernabeu.
Sources close to the situation have revealed that Manchester City’s manager Pep Guardiola rates Rodrygo highly and views him as an ideal player to strengthen his squad. The Premier League champions had initially set aside funds for Lucas Paqueta but will now look to spend those on other targets, including Rodrygo.
Chelsea had also expressed interest in Rodrygo but have not received positive feedback from his camp due to their lack of Champions League football. Paris Saint-Germain is another club reportedly interested in the winger as they search for an Mbappe replacement. However, sources indicate that Real Madrid is not willing to negotiate a sale for Rodrygo, who is under contract until 2028 and has played a key role in their recent successes, including winning the Spanish Super Cup, LaLiga, and Champions League this season. He scored an impressive 17 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions under Carlo Ancelotti.
Rodrygo himself has clarified his position after the Champions League final, stating his desire to stay at Real Madrid despite the reinforcements in attack. With these factors considered, it appears that the chances of Rodrygo joining Manchester City, Chelsea, or any other club are currently very low.
