Two native doctors have been arrested in Anambra and Imo states. In Anambra state, 32-year-old Maduabuchi Nwafor, also known as Omenkpo, was arrested by the police for preparing charms for ESN members. He was allegedly using his shrine for initiation ceremonies and as a meeting point for the group. On the other hand, in Imo state, a 40-year-old man identified as Uzoamaka Ugoanyanwu was arrested for preparing charms for members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
