Sometimes, nobody can be sure of what Nigerians really want – on issue of gay. Reactions following the trending video are surprising.
Over the weekend a video of a man is trending. He was accused of being homosexual. In his neighborhood, young men are seen parading him streets after streets while his two hands are well tied behind him.

Some where beating him with pranks, others hit him with various objects and bottles are seen being broken on his head.
The incident further highlights how much Nigerian public still despise homosexuality. Multiple times, the issue of legalizing gay relationships through act of parliament has come up in the National Assembly. But, always, it failed.
However, the reactions that trail the weekend viral video appear to prove that gay sympathizers are present in Nigerian society.
